Lockformer Vulcan 1800/HT40C

Does anyone know anything about these tables. I bought one used and have it set up in our farm shop. I can’t find any literature on how to run it or where to go from here. Any information would be helpful. Has a Hypertherm HT40C plasma cutter. 5x10 table. Everything seems to be there it powers up but that’s as far as I’ve gotten.

Don;t really know anything about that particular machine but I do believe it designed to be more for the HVAC industry and likely does not have auto torch height control but should do what you want it to do in your farm shop. If you are able to power it up can you test fire the plasma cutter and jog the torch along the XY axis?

It will travel on x and y as it should and raise and lower height. I will try to test fire and get back. Thank you. Learning as I go

Great that it travels on all axis. If you are able to fire the plasma then you can start with cutting some simple straight lines and get accustomed to it and find some good settings that cut well before trying to cut anything more intricate. Curious to here back. Good luck.

Well I got it to at least attempt to cut. I have no idea what settings should be. PSI for air? Amperage? I got it to “ignite” as the readout says but that’s all it would do when attempting a Rip cut? I’m flying blind but it did punch a hole so that’s a plus. Then it would immediately quit. That’s as far as I’ve gotten. An owners manual would be nice if only one was available.
