MyPlasm CNC or Powermax 85 arch and Collison problems
Hello, I've recently ran into a problem with our CNC machine and I am not sure if it is a MyPlasm problem or a Powermax 85 problem. Regardless, I keep losing Arch Voltage without running out of air. I also get a 'limit switch Z' and a 'Collision Switch' problem whenever the torch is moving from one cut to another or while following a path, even without it touching the table. Is this an easy fix or an expensive one? Mind you, the touch and tip is not hitting the plate causing it to knock off track and there isn't any cut out pieces sticking up that could knock it off track or cause it to screw up the z axis

Sounds like a bad wire or switch if you're getting limit or collision switch errors when it's not hitting anything.
I'm guessing the arc voltage is probably related to a loose or bad wire as well

It's a brand new torch because we had problems with the last one, we ended up buying a whole new box and a new torch and replaced the wires. I just greased the entire table and its working good so far, but I've only actually cut out like 3 squares since i greased it so I think it's too early to say that's the solution

When you lose voltage do you get an error code on your powermax 85 lcd screen?
