Inkscape has introduced a new version of it's program in July

Right on, anyone tried it yet?

I installed it and it appears very different, I have not looked at it hard yet. The Doc Properties is very different.

I updated once after version 1.0.2-2 and didn't like the layout as it seemed clunky and very different, i reinstalled 1.0.2-2 because that's what I'm used to.
Looking forward to y'alls reviews on it.... i "might" upgrade. In my mind, i don't upgrade from something that works

David you may be using a 64 bit mine is a 32 bit (my PC has wrinkles and is bald ) like me.

Tom - I think you have the latest version. Mine was current earlier in the year, and once I get used to the look and layout - there is no real incentive for me to change to a newer version unless that is some brand new feature that I absolutely can't live without. If they have fixed the trace bitmap so that it actually updates the preview when settings are adjusted, or perhaps added a real Trim tool, then those are both features I would be interested in. Please let us know if you find such improvements with the latest version.
