Here are some links with plenty of information from how a plasma works to some very nice and detailed diy build logs, ranging from 4x4' to 15 meters or 45' .
This is an effort to gather as much info as possible in one place for those interested in building a DIY cnc plasma cutter, or retrofitting and old plasma machine. It includes some of the more detailed builds from this forum, plenty of info about mechanical design, motors, floating heads, grounding and shielding.
