hey everyone!
i have been cutting steel for the past few months. from 16 gage up to 1/4 ". i am going to start on some brass and copper just to get the feel for it. i will be cutting 14 gage. i have a torchmate system and a thermal dynamic's cutter.
if anyone can give me an idea of where i might need to start, sure would appreciate it.
thanks
brass/copper

Re: brass/copper
Copper and brass dissipate heat much more quickly than steel does. Start with the same parameters you would use for that thickness of steel and reduce speed by 30%.
