Camping, in the mountains and at the beach/lake. and back yard bbq's. They do throw off a lot of heat. I live in a semi-rural area, so I could use it without issue. No sure how much BTU's this little guy will throw out yet
Heck, if I hate it, I have basically zero cost in this one except maybe a day lost and a few consumables. It may sit in the corner to be fired up only once in a blue moon.
I am smoking a 16 lb brisket , and a few racks of baby back ribs tomorrow and it is perfect weather for something like this to snuggle up near. (this little guy wont be quiet ready yet for this though, maybe ready to fire up next week sometime) My fire pit works too, but everyone has a store bought pit. The hand made fire pits are cool because most people cant make them. Who has one of these, especially nowadays?
They are just cool!! imho
. Novelty piece, especially homemade. I dont think I will even clean it up or even paint it.. just keep it looking a little steam-punk-ish haha!
