Nice work Bill!
Think I'll have to cut this out for the local VFW.

Bill,
If you were to apply a patina to this what would be your means of application? I use a 55 gal. drum and dip piece into drum, but what is the best way to do larger pieces such as the one above? Do you use an aspirator to apply? Ordinary spray bottle? brush?
Thanks for the info. Tim Red Robin Creatives

I'd highly recommend a Viton Seal Pressure Pump for the Copper FX Base. I have those in stock & on my 'Supplies'
page of my website. http://www.steelf-x.com/Supplies.html
The trick is to pre-wet (with water) the polished side of your larger piece, prime your pump-sprayer with about 35-40 pumps, spray (starting at the top) with a fine mist of Copper FX.
Flush/Rinse with "Shower" setting on an adjustable spray nozzle very quickly & thoroughly. You don't want the Copper FX
to stay on the piece more than 3-5 seconds.
Now, you'll be ready for subsequent patinas, e.g. Pewter FX (which will give a bronzing effect) and/or Torch FX for reds and blues.
thanks,
Bill

It opened up 46" X 43" for me, also. I resaved it from MasterCam and am posting it here. Hope it helps.
