buck skull

made this from a buck my son shot. typical california coastal black tail. layed out skull, cut, formed, filled and welded. formed and ground horns then used the gough setting and texured them. used wax finish to complete it.

Great job on the whole thing! Love the texture. It's great seeing these machines do more than flat stuff.

call me slow if you will, but did you set the real antlers in the metal skull or did you somehow make the antlers too ??

either way, way cool stuff

i made the antles from metal and used the torch to gouge them
