Swag 20T Finger Brake 90 degree bend

Post by SierraBrad »

Any one have the Swag 20T Finger Press Brake and can't get 90 degree true angle, is there slip in shoes that would help get beyond the 90 to allow for spring back?
Thanks

I'm able to get 90° with mine. I use various sizes of angle irons stacked in top of each other to reduce the gap across the web, but that doesn't really change the angle I can achieve. It just allows me to bend smaller parts. I will say with the angle irons the bend radius isn't very tight. What I do is watch the flat edge of the part on the flat side of the angle. Then I watch for it to just barely separate off the angle iron. If that makes sense. Hard to describe.
