My attempt at the "support our troops" eagle
Not sure I took the best approach to the red and white feathers, but I'm happy with how it turned out for being a first attempt. Definitely learned a couple tricks on this one. Next piece should be a little less time consuming (and a few less curse words)

I'm not sure if this is meant to ask if I copied the file, or if you're just sharing your work. Either way, I really like the way you worked with the depth of the individual pieces. Also, great idea with curling the feathers forward.SlagBandit wrote:Hmm don't remember posting this file or sending it....
However, if this was intended to make a point about possibly copying, I assume we both designed off the same window decal? If you look closely, almost every aspect of every piece is slightly different. You have cuts on the red and white where I do not. Your blue body feathers go much farther down the body than mine do. Your head is completely different and appears to be the same piece as the background where mine is a separate piece attached to the blue feathers. We also took a different approach for the stars. You cut each star out where I used decals. Same goes for the talons. It also appears that you cut the beak out where I decided to make that a separate piece as well. That being said, I do think we both had the same idea for a paint scheme.
If you feel this work was copied off of something you've created, I can assure you that it was not, but I would be more than glad to remove the post to prevent any hard feelings.
Keep up the good work,
Cody
