10 year old 4X8 Torchmate Question
I am looking at a Torchmate that is about 10 years old. I has the THC. What kind of things should I look for and what are some of the things that might have to be upgraded.

From what I understand the older THC's can be problematic. If you can see it running well and following the plate up and down with the THC on thats a good start. Worst case scenario c&cnc and flashcut both have retrofit kits for older TM machines to update all the controls.

Be sure the machine is in working order and the current THC is working properly. Ask for a demonstration cutting several different thicknesses of material and maybe some "warped" material as well. If everything works as it should, and the asking price is reasonable - then consider making your purchase.
