I have done a number of these full size for people who don't have a real rifle but want something old timey over the mantle piece. I cut the hammer as a separate piece and weld it either cocked or down on the rifle. Rust or brown the piece and then seal it with matte clear coat an it looks quite antique! Pardon the cobwebs, this one is hanging in the shop!
