Wondering if anyone has a tip on how to generate sequential numbers. I had someone ask if I could cut door numbers, from one to two hundred, with the possibility of having the company logo on the placard.
I know the hard way to do it but was wondering if anyone has an easier solution.
I used CorelDraw8 and Fusion360.

Re: Sequential numbering for placards
I don't think 8 has a merge file option.
If it does you make a template with the logo on it then then link it to a database, in this case an Excel spreadsheet. In Excel you start a numbering sequence and finish it with a copy & special paste command. Hit merge and the magic happens. Sounds Simple Right?

Re: Sequential numbering for placards
There may be a sequential numbering plugin for CorelDraw. Have a look at this one says it does automatic numbering and uses a database

Re: Sequential numbering for placards
It will require some hand editing of a base file but there are plenty of Gcode subroutines floating around for generating sequential numbering.
