I purchased some Hypertherm Copper Plus fine cut consumables and immediately noticed less dross. I get great life out of my regular fine cut consum. but though if I could get even better why not give them a try. I usually have very little dross and wasn't looking to reduce it but was surprised to see even less. (Very Noticeable Difference). Just wondering if anyone else has had this same experience. Maybe Jim can explain this one.

Re: Hypertherm copper plus fine cut consumables
They should cut the same as the standard electrodes, just will last considerably longer. Jim

What part numbers are your consumables? The majority of my work is finecut, but I wasn't aware that there were copper plus options... or are you just using the copper plus electrode?
