My Mach3 Charge Pump Design

Post by FabLab »

I built the following charge pump for my Mach3 controlled machine, it works well so I thought I would share it...

Mach3 will output a 12.5kHz signal when its running, with the use of a charge pump you can disable the electroics, motors, etc. on you machine until Mach3 is fully up and in control.

Because I am using a parallel port to control my machine if the PC is rebooted unwanted signals can be sent out of the parallel port causing unexpected machine movements

Its just a safety thing my circuit design uses a relay to cut the power to my power supply until Mach is running
