Good morning,
I don't know if I'd trust that press for 1/4". Bending 4ft of 1/4 will take 12-16 tons per foot of material.....(48-64 tons of pressure). My biggest concern would be the deflection of the "punch". How is it held in place? If it is just the pins on the rams.....no way. If it has slides on the sides.....maybe. Maybe you could shorten the height of the punch?

Hope that helps ya,
Mike
