cant open dxf

I tried downloading a couple dxf files, I said open with coreldrawx5 corel opened but there was nothing there,
I use to be able to open them any ideas why not now??

Try using import function? Don't know for sure as I'm not totally familiar with Corel. Which files are you trying to open?

I don't use corel, But I have noticed several time ,
That alot of the dxf are in metric and on mine it switch to standard.
Thus i get a a blank looking screen, However down in the corner is a tiny spec that if i enlarge it.. it the dxf
And at times it way of the screen either side.
The X and Y positioning are not always true between different programs.
So sometimes it there, you just have to search for it

If you have the problem listed above, just press CTRL+A and it should select all, letting you know if there is an image there or not.

In Autocad usually the image is just in outer space. A "ze" or zoom extents command usually brings the image into the screen.
