need help on layout of cone
bottom of cone dia is 17.875 top of cone dia is 15.000 cone is 2.500 high and .500 thick materal I need the flat layout to plasma cut. any help would be great thank you

attached. i did the layout with 5 degree bends, when it comes together i left a 1/16" gap. the file contains the bend lines and the tangents. hope this helps.

yes that is great but Im going to roll it on my rolls it has a cone attachment thank you very muck

Btw I used autodesk inventor to lay it out. It took less than 2 minutes. It's an excellent program if it's in the finances. I hoe it works out for you.

Attached is formula for figuring a cone segment for "rolling".
Forgive me for the font and scale and ugly dwg but you get the picture, I just drew this up quick.
Decide how many segments you want to fabricate the cone out of, depending on
capabilities of your shop and roll and table then input into formula.
I used Centerline dimensions on the sketch, especially for plate 1/2" thick. Opinions will be
everywhere on that but regardless, the formula will get you what you need.
