Need 1 " border on inside of 18" Star

Hi Everyone, Can someone tell me how to make a 1" and a 1.5" Border on the inside of a 18" Star? I have a DHC2 PlasmaCam and can not get it to work. I can do the offset on a circle, but this star is just not working the same way.

I just tried it on DesignEdge, and it worked for me. I selected the star, hit "O" for offset, put in "1" for the distance, and then while holding the control key, clicked inside the star. (Control leaves the original intact.)

hey, Gamelord you are great at using and explaining what tools to use.
I just couldn't figure out how to do them.
I got the corel draw x6Unleashed video/tutorial and what ever you guys say to do ,I just look up that tool/topic and watch the tutorial . and then it makes sense. and its pretty easy to learn.
im starting to like corel . its not very good when you don't know how to use it.
if I get a 1/4 good as you I will be happy.
