diference in Samson and PlasmaCam DHC2

What is the difference between a Samson 510 and a PlasmaCam DHC2. Looking into a purchase.

I think just 6 feet in length.

Everything else is the same is what I was told by a salesman.

The 510 (also known as "Samson") has a 5' x 10' cutting area, the DHC2 has a 4' x 4' cutting area. Be sure when you look at pricing that you have chosen the correct upgrades. You should get the advanced Design Edge as well as the advanced height control upgrades. I also recommend using a machine torch, the SnapnCut torch mount, and if it is a Hypertherm Powermax65, 85 or 105 the plug and play interface cable. These upgrades bring the machine more in line with industrial machine standards. It will perform better, provide longer consumable life and more consistent cut quality, and be more reliable.

Don't the new 4x4 tables have DHC2 on them now? My first table, a 4x4 which I bought in 06, had DHC. When I bought my Samson 5x10, I thought both size tables had DHC2. ??

The 510's motion control hardware is the same as the DHC2's. With the same software configuration, they perform exactly the same.
