Z axis override

Post by redjetMW »

Does anyone know a way that I can function the Z axis up and down during a program without making a remote switch and running through my thc wiring setup? I quit using my PROMA thc for numerous reasons and would like to manually control the Z axis using my keyboard (or wireless remote) directly on Mach3. Is this a feasible task or should I stick with wiring a secondary remote? Thanks in advance!

In Mach your up/down buttons on the keyboard should work during the program.

You have to go to config/ portspins and then set teh thcup and down to emulate then select 2 key as hotkeys. Then save and shutdown and restart mach3 THEN you are good to go. The 2 hotkeys will function as thcup and thcdown.
