Help with trace-Dogs

Post by vectra3 »

Can someone help with this photo. I am trying to trace it to cut but I am not having any luck getting them to look like dogs when I finish. I need the 3 dogs and railing. I am using TorchMate CAD. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a good start.
dogs.jpg
Open it in paint
use a black paint brush to eliminate unwanted areas,
or add filling and bridges.
Than safe as monochrome black.
Open it in Torchmate Cad and use the scan tool.
Than comes a lot of node editing. Done

Thanks for the help. I will give it a try. I would be willing to pay someone to make me a cut ready file.

Here's the dog in the middle..this is all I have time for right now. I know for sure it will cut on my vinyl plotter, but I do not have a cnc plasma so I do not know for sure if this will cut on your machine. :?: I can save it as a .dxf in Corel Draw.

Hi DWD,
You did an awesome silhouette. I wish I could get there.
How much time did you spend on it. I know it is tedious at this stage.
Nice work
