Does anyone know a compatible dc replacement motor for a Plasma Cam XY axis? They Want 300 DOLLARS after I've already given them my soul.

That is a reasonable price for a Servo Motor with the encoder and pulley....which is the way they come from PlasmaCam. The encoder is in the $60 to $100 range itself. I used to have an industrial plasma cnc machine that had $900 servo motors on it! I just had to replace the gantry motor on my DHC2 PlasmaCam a few weeks back. It had about 7 years hard use on it.
