help with touch pre set amp on mach3

Ok so Im running a td cutmaster 82 on my table with candcnc, I csn pre set my amp to 112 and when the cutter starts cutting the actual amp go to 230+ amp what would make this happan I'm running 60amp tips cutting 3/16 steel plate
