rotating a part

Post by HammerDownJustin »

Is there a way you can rotate a part 180 degrees in mach 3. Sometimes i put a file from sheetcam in my mach and it is turned the wrong way...i always end up rotating the metal.

In the MDI entry field type G68Rxx where xx = the number of degrees of rotation. Type G69 to cancel coordinate rotation. The part will rotate around it's origin point. Depending on the version of Mach3 you're using, G31, Run From Here, Reverse Run and Feed Hold may or may not work properly when the coordinate system is rotated.
