Show some pics of your set-ups.
I have looked around and haven't seen a thread like this. We should have a picture thread where people post pics of their CNC table set ups. I will be receiving my 5x10 LDR Motion Systems tabl some time this week so I am pretty excited. I will edit this post once it comes in and I get it set up. But till then, lets post pics here.

3 pages of replies and only 4 pictures. Not really what I had in mind. Anyone else care to post some pics of their set-up?JJsCustomDesigns wrote:http://plasmaspider.com/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=4343

hmmmm.... have you tried googling CNC PLASMA TABLE and clicking the "images" tab?

My internet doesn't have Google. Only Plasmaspider. Hence the reason I started this thread.

Nice looking set up Marty. I am going to steal your idea for hanging up grinders. That 6,6x10,10 mesh works neatly for that.

thanks plain ol Bill
I am sending another pic along to show to detail on anchoring, simply welded some angle to a plate and used some concrete anchors on one side, then tied to the crane support post on the other side...if the crane post was not there I am sure another anchored down angle iron upright would work as well

Still getting organized and fixing to add another 25' x 24' room on the back and it will be dedicated to a larger cnc table and overhead crane and metal storage..then the front 25 x 40 will be for tube bending etc..

Re: Show some pics of your set-ups.
Table came in today. All set up. My order of consumables from Hypermax won't be here till Monday so all I've done so far is test out the scribe. Will post pics tomorrow.

Re: Show some pics of your set-ups.
So I got the table on Saturday. This is how it sits in my shop.
This is a short video of the scribe working. Since my consumables didn't come in till today all I could do was engrave.
This is the finished product. The B got messed up cause I was playing with the downward pressure on my ram.
Finally today my consumables came in. Here is a short video of the machine cutting.
I was bound and determined to get this finished by days end. Finally finished tacking it together around 9PM. I am giving it to my dad for Father's Day.

Re: Show some pics of your set-ups.
went from this (shop on my parent's property)
to this when I bought my first house (it'll be 4 years I've been here in September). The truck is gone now and I use that side primarily for doing fab work now. Side with the cnc table has a few other pieces of stationary tools on casters. I can't wait to have a bigger garage or an offsite workshop one of these days so everything can have room instead of moving stuff around.

Re: Show some pics of your set-ups.
New guy here. I love pictures. Nice stuff here.
Here is the little machine I completed not too long ago. Maybe 4 or 5 months. Build thread is at the Zone.
Recently started to cut stainless with it. That little test has changed my product some. Instead of some of my parts being powder coated CRS, they are SS now. A little less work and no PCing.
I look forward to trying to be a contributor when I can, but I've already learned a bunch just ready what you guys have shared. Thanks a bunch for that.

Re: Show some pics of your set-ups.
I finally bit the bullet/broke the piggy bank. I figured that I should wait for retirement to start my little sideline. Hopefully it will take off. I have quite a few good ideas for products and already have interest in a few that will keep me busy for a while.
Last week I got the overhead crane operational. It still needs a few little tweaks, but it already works great. It was a mad-dash to get this up ASAP because I tied up the whole floor. I built everything from scratch. I'm confident that I could get it certified if needed. And I had to get a little creative to be able to remove the garage door rail hangars from the ceiling (see pix below)...
Last weekend I built the computer stand. Paint is still pretty fresh when I took the pictures. Stay tuned for the full setup pictures.
