I'm a newbee, Can someone help? Is there a way to move the torch to a postion like 10.00 x and 10.00 y without generating g-code. Not using the joy stick/arrow keys?

Sure go to the MDI line and type in

G90 G00 X10.000 Y10.000 then press enter.

G00 is rapid
G01 is feed

If using G01 make sure the feedrate is set or add F## to the line

G01 X10.000 Y.000 F30 Moves to the abs x10 y10 at 30IPM feedrate

The arrow keys are for jogging the x and y axis and the page up and page down keys do the z axis. Then you can zero everything and cut from there
