Flange Fitting precise holes

Post by wrathje »

Grrr, this is killing me!!! 2 days going and I cannot get this correct. I come for guidence and support.
I am running DHC plasma cam software with hypertherm cutter. Still learning the software, but with this flange, seems I need more training. hehe

Basically what I have is a 4.5" diameter circle, with x,y being dead center, then from there 5 holes on the outside.

I can draw the 4/5" circle, and find center then draw the 60.1mm hole, what I am having trouble is the holes on the outsides cordinates.
I am just looking for a pierce point for the outside holes, then I will manually drill out the holes on the press.

The x,y coords for the holes are listed in the chart in the upper left corner of your image! As per the chart, the #6 hole, the one in the center, is your 0,0 point. From that, x is to the right or left and y is up n down. If you can't get it from that, pm me and I will send you a DXF later this evening. I have ACAD 2012. Just tell me what version to send the DXF to you or I usually shoot it back in ACAD2000 format. Worst case scenario, I will give you my phone no and help you out that way. Bill

Muzza,
Thank You for the link, and that is definetly on my software checklist, and the price is amazing well.
I went with I_leane instructions and walla, created the file in plasmacam 3.11

I mated up with RJohnson .dxf and I was off little on the holes as RJ file was deadon.

Thank you for guides and information.
