the way I see 'em

Post by enfofan »

this is the way I see 'em- use Corel Photopaint, Corel Trace, Corel Draw- edit nodes, clean lines and export to layered DXF; import to Flashcut CNC
this attached file will need to have elements ungrouped, placed in respective layers, and remember the outer element must be the highest numbered layer or top layer in the object manager dialog box (Corel). In Corel, you can't open and edit layers in the DXF- only the CDR file- I always save two files, the CDR and the DXF

I open and edit DXF files all the time in Corel. Just open the file and select ungroup all and you can remove all the top layers then hit combine and save .

Same here, in coreldraw, just use the ctrl+ pgup or pgdn to move an object to the front or back.

Also....thanks for sharing. :)
