Good deal for us TM users. TM since the buy out by Lincoln has had it's customer service go down hill. They wanted 4K + to upgraded my 2x2 Growth series to the Accumove technology. I used that money to build the 6x12 (Thanks T M :Yay )

We have done a bunch of TM 3 and also the later Lincoln "X" series . We had to develp some custom brackets to make things work . We want a unit we can physically have inour shop and refine the process and document it . We have had to deal with interfacing the Lincoln Flexcut plasmas and that was interesting.

The Growth Series presents a challenge. The linear drive is lead screws versus R & P and other variations make it less of a value to run a modern control. Upgrading hobby tables even using our new HS-45 turn key solution may not be cost effective. They often have other issues besides just bad controls or bad software. Its like putting (expensive) lipstick on a pig.

I hear what your saying Tom.

The machine has cut tons of metal in its 10 years of service and it keeps going like Boom Boom Bunny (just not very fast). A testament to the original crew at T M considering this was the cheapest table they made. Preventive maintenance on a plasma table is a must for any kind of service life.
