Cutting brackets that have a c-notch cunt into them.
.250 thickness, 40IMP, 56 Amps (cut all my .250 at this set up)
Cutting clockwise. L-R
FLATS- cut great
As for the upside down C notch (more like a U) the Left side-lead side, cuts great, UNTIL the torch hits the center of the notch and starts cutting the Right side, then a beveling starts, then it hits the flat and cuts fine
It on bevels on the right side of the U- from center up to the flat
Any suggestions?? Slow the 40IMP speed, since I'm cutting a notch Notch is 3.5 inch diameter.
As always thank you
beveled edge only on one side of the semi-circle, notch

Cutting a small square from your .250 and inspecting the 4 sides can tell a lot. I would suspect the orifice in your nozzle is no longer perfectly round. If that is the case and you rotate the nozzle 45 or so the bevel should move to a different location on the part and can be sure that replacing the nozzle will fix it.

What weldguy says is a possibility.
