It looks like he is using simple hand tool to do his "shaping".

I have a customer who purchased one of my metal working power hammer kits several years ago and makes some pretty incredible 3D pieces. All of Steve's stuff is tig welded stainless steel and highly polished. He also make some really neat butterflies.

They look cool. I dont have a power hammer, would be just using the old fashioned tools , would be using 14g steel, and mig or tig.

Re: 3d horse head
Yes it is different. But pretty awesome. I would be proud of that, especially for not having any rollers/ stretchers or shrinkers or a power hammer. Thanks for posting a pic

Its the file from the original post, but they send out a different file to the pic, which is abit annoying.

Re: 3d horse head
I was wondering if they sent out a different file.It does look very different. They bait you into buying the file, which they possibly never even had in the first place.Jb_engineering wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2024 3:42 am Its the file from the original post, but they send out a different file to the pic, which is abit annoying.
It possibly wont be long until we can ask a.i. to generate a DXF of a picture that we give it. Or even ask it to come up with something and export a DXF file.
Crazy world we have. We had better buckle all up! HAHA!
