Is there a Copyright on that design?

It is easy enough to draw with DesignEdge, but a photo of the entire surface would help the artist not need to GUESS at what is out of frame. Also, what are the dimensions? It looks to be about 20 inches wide.

It will be best if you can provide a photo of the complete part looking straight on (not off at an angle). The higher the resolution, the better. For the best result, this one would most likely need to be manually traced. What software - if any - are you using to draw/edit your vector files?

Where did you get the photo? If you know the owner of the part in the photo, then perhaps just ask them where they got the part from and see if you can purchase the original file. Otherwise - you will need a better photo of the entire piece and do a manual trace using Inkscape, CorelDraw, etc. There is also a section at this forum with a list of "hired guns" who would be able to create a cut-ready vector file for you.
