JD2 bender dxf

Was looking for a dxf of the bender that uses jd2 dies, didn't come up with one, however I did run accross the drawings for it and made a dxf,

I used this DXF when making my bender...so it does work. I changed things up a bit since I wanted a vertical bender, but the important parts (hole locations, etc) are all correct.

I've been wanting to switch my JD2 bender to a vertical style for more room in the shop. Care to share the file for your vertical setup, it looks great!

I too have a JD2 bender I was wanting to change to a vertical style. I noticed when trying to lay it out that I thought it would need to set at an angle like your version. I would greatly appreciate it if you were willing to share your file.

I think this same setup would work for either the Model 3 or Model 32 dies. Just adjust the spacing between the plates accordingly. Mine is one I built using the Model 3 bender and dies - probably around 15 years ago. It works great, and for my application the horizontal orientation work better.
