Start Points

I'm using Sheet cam TNG and have a question. When I put my lead in on parts with interior cuts, sometimes it will put the lead in on the outside of the interior cut out. There is plenty of room for the lead in, I can go back and manually move the start point and it works fine. Was wondering if there was a way to change this.
