Langmuir Pro Fireshare Won't Load DXF

So in FireShare DXF will not load , it needs to be G code or NC ,what is the fix? Some files have the”Z” axis in them and it works great , if does not have that feature it still does a great job

You can import the dxf to Fusion 360, create your tool paths, and post process to create the g-code. Be sure to use the post processor for FireControl. An alternative would be to use Sheetcam to convert your dxf file to g-code.

After doing some trial runs , I see a definite need for theTHC , it should be included as package.

If your metal is flat, then it should work fine with no THC. The only downside is that since you will be piercing at cut height, your consumables will not last as long. Of course it would be nice to be included. On some of their more expensive tables it is.

the challenge is the metal is flat as you progress cutting other pieces the metal starts to warp, mild steel sheet metal not so bad, Aluminun sheet metal 1/8 thick warps even more ,1/8 mild steel metal starts warping too, now waiting on consumables

You could try spraying it with water from a squirt bottle while cutting to help minimize warping. Also try to create a cut order so that all the cutting is not occurring in the same area at the same time. I have seen Langmuir demo videos where they were using a water tray so that the material was actually in the water (or very close to it) while cutting.

Since you have the Crossfire Pro, I believe you can order the optional thc upgrade along with the water tray option.

Waitng on THC,seeing other videos and what helps extend the life of consumbles, also learning Fusion 360 in the mean time
