I used a similar pic to try and made a set of foot pegs for my dad's jeep. I cut the driver's side out and haven't been able to test fit yet (he's working out of state). I cut this file on the waterjet at work. It should do alright on a plasma. I used 3/16" plate. Let me know how they fit. I've been reluctant to ask a random person with a jeep if they mind taking the doors off for a second. Haha.

There's a 1" wide tab that bends down 90deg and it bumps against the hinge plate on the jeep. At least that's how mine work the way i have it drawn up.

Gave it a shot tried it on my JKU. Fits pretty good the only thing that I can come up with as far as change or fit, is the 1 inch stop tab is to far forward, does not swing it out far enough for my leg. Idk just an opinion. Thanks for the file..

Yeah man I had to do some serious tweaking to that drawing after I test fit. I ended up moving the hole location and narrowing the tab. I also changed a bunch of other dimensions for it to stop at a comfortable angle.

I cut one of these out last month and have had the doors off my jeep for a couple days. I sandblasted the part and had it sprayed with bedliner, I couldnt be happier with the product
Guess I'll be the hated safety guy on this one but feet / arms belong inside the jeep in case of a roll over. Every year at the Moab jeep safari people roll over while bracing on the roll cage only to have fingers smashed and or removed. Install 5 point harnesses and keep all appendages inside the machine. Hang onto the grab bar on the passenger side and steering wheel on the drivers sides /// Flame Away

I know this is an old post....but still a good one
I cut a few of these out with my PlasmaCAM for some Jeep buddies and they LOVE them! Powder coated them as they waited. Looks great in a wrinkle black texture coating.

I've had this file for years and just finally cut one to test a few weeks back. Cuts really good. Added a few extra details. This one was 16ga and is too flimsy, but mainly wanted to see if it would work. Thinking 10ga should be thick sturdy enough. I also need to size it down a bit.
