Re: Grandpa's Garden
Ordered one of those easyscribers, pretty excited to give it a try. Can't wait for it to get here.
I edited the grandmas garden design by shrinking it down to 8 inches wide and only 4 inches tall with a couple stakes to keep it in the garden.
The guy at easyscribe showed me a tip to add this detail to inside which should really make this stand out and look pro in stainless steel. I've seen this technique on some of the pieces they have done and was curious so I called.
Grandmas gonna LOVE IT!! I'll post pics when it get it done...if it looks good.
The scribe file was 1.3MB so I had to zip it. Zip file contains both scribe and plasma dxf's if anyone wants to beat me to it.

Re: Grandpa's Garden
This afternoon I was able to get this project done and I must say it turned out very nice! Grandmas gonna be stoked! Seriously though I am really impressed with the amount of detail I was able to get into this small piece of stainless steel. The trick is those detail lines. They suggested placing those scribe lines .040"-.100" apart, I went with .040" just for kicks and WOW, looks wicked! Pumped on this little gadget. I think I can make smaller pieces and turn our bigger profits with some creativity! Pumped!

And the final pic in the garden
The sun was pretty bright so the detail the scriber produced is a little lost in the glare.

Thanks! It look around 10 minutes to do all the detail inside before cutting the outer profile.Unvevo wrote:Nice! How long did it take to engrave?
