The ratrod is thanks to Ben de Lappe, off whom I purchased the file. It was originally designed for a larger cut but I mucked with it a bit to fit on my little 2 x 4 table.
Cut from 2mm steel.... I think that is about 14 gauge

No need to sugar coat the facts Larry. It took a good deal of skill and time to reduce 'er as much as you did. What, a whole foot shorter? Excellent Job! You should have told me about your size limitations I would have been happy to help with the scaling.

Yup....but using that file and making something that cuts nice are 2 entirely different things.
