Re: Convert to dxf
What exactly are you trying to convert? The whole thing or just the text?

I use Inkscape when I want to trace a picture. IT'S FREE!
Larry
P.S. It works great with my graphic tablet!

Re: Convert to dxf
I decided to have some fun with this one - you can do it like this, try to edit the text back out or practice tracing the text from scratch! I used Paint.Net to remove the background before tracing. Then some clean up and bridging for this file. No guarantees but have fun!

Hey Larry if you don't mind me asking what tablet did you go with? I'm trying to find one to run Inkscape.. I'm always adjusting nodes and I wasn't sure if a tablet or a laptop would be the best way to go.. i hate running heat in my shop just to draw up designs.

I got a HUION DWH69, it was on a great sale so I thought I would give it a try. It's wireless so I can sit back and just put it on my lap and go. I'm left handed so drawing with the mouse is rather hard as the buttons on a mouse are backward for me. It has a 9" X 6" active area with a resolution of 5080 LPI and you can screen zoom to get even better line placement. I haven't had a lot of time to learn how to use it, but what I have done was WAY better then I was doing with a mouse.
Here is one add for it so you can look at what it can do, BUT look around for a price as this one is more then I paid.
