plasma electrode material
I want to know about electrode material. plzz help!!

The body of the electrode is copper, if the electrode is for use with air or oxygen...the emitter is hafnium. If the electrode is for use with non-oxidizing gases then the emitter must be tungsten. The thermal bond between the emitter and body is critical. Dimensional accuracy is critical.

Is it true there is only 10 years worth of hefnium left on earth? If so, are all us plasma guys going to have to switch gasses?

I think we should switch to fullnium, lasts twice as long as hafnium....
