Post by bikerman883 » Tue Jun 11, 2019 7:27 pm

I am trying to add a banner to the bottom of a tattered flag using fusion 360. I made the banner in inkscape and imported as an svg file and opened my dxf of the fal and cant figure out how to attach the banner. anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I have always struggled with stuff like that in Fusion 360 and unfortunately cannot help but I would think that you would have much better luck doing the entire design in Inkscape. Also posting this in the Inkscape forum will likely get you the help you need since there are many Inkscape users here.

I think the bridge in your stencil letters was just not wide enough and the kerf ate it up on you. As for the dashed line I am not sure but could have been the bounding box for your text. Attach the file and lets have a look :Like

I think I click the lines in sheet cam and move to a different layer. how can I get the bridge wider in the stencil?

You can go back to Fusion and edit your design to make the bridges wider. I am not familiar with Sheetcam and if that is possible to do that with Sheetcam.
