Ethernet Upgrade is now standard

With the slow demise of the PC parallel port, another method of machine control is becoming more and more important. The Ethernet controller upgrade allows you to run Mach3 and control the machine from any PC, including lap tops and Windows tablets. The only requirement is that the PC have a Cat5 Ethernet port. All PC's manufactured to date have this.

The Ethernet upgrade consists of an upgraded interface board with opto-isolated inputs and an Ethernet controller board. The upgraded interface and controller also make more inputs available for custom applications. The Ethernet upgrade also includes a newer Dell PC running Windows7. Our standard controller includes a Dell GX620. The Ethernet upgrade includes a Dell Optiplex 780.

This option is now standard on all machines ordered after 4/21/2014.
