AAARRR-Vendors - Consumables

Post by jeeplogic83 »

I used up my last tip the other day and I ordered tips from Harris welding the cheapest and fastest place to get tips on the internet. I have 15 signs to get done for a 4-H group, I wanted to get done this weekend. 8-) I get home at about 11pm last night and the the package is sitting on my porch :D I open it up and there is a self darkening welding helmet  that was supposed to go to Mr Rodriguez in Guayama, Puerto Rico  I'm not really sure how the shipping clerk screwed this up but what the hell  (Michigan---Puerto Rico I think it goes in this box).
http://www.harrisweldingsupplies.com/ This is there site they really do have good prices and very fast shipping.
Has any one else ever got a completely different item then what they ordered.

I've ordered consumables and other items from Harris on a regular basis and so far each order has been exact and timely. Even with shipping they are cheaper than the local suppliers in the area.

I think I'll send it back. The invoice on the helmet was $139.00 I get the ones from harbor freight for 50.00 and they work great. The email from Harris welding said that there were several boxes mislabeled I would have to assume the shipping guy is in a heap of trouble.
