Clear coat

Post by jsd010 »

What type of clear coat do y'all use on your projects? My students made 2 signs for a business and they are already rusting through. We put a minimum of 6 layers of rustoleum paint on each colored part and 4/5 cans of clear coat were applied to each sign. I'm thinking I am needing to purchase some automotive clearcoat and use my spray gun for it. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Automotive clear is the way to go.

Check out this product, may be available locally but produces a nice finish.
