Is anybody familiar with the type of paint used to coat metal by the dipping process? I've searched different sites but haven't come up with the correct stuff.

I'm familiar with that process but that's not what I'm looking for. Manufacturers use this process, though not as much since powdercoating became popular, to dip coat their parts on the assembly line. The paint is formulated to eliminate runs, drips. Automotive manufacturers used to use it and maybe still do.

If you decide to go with a "DIP TANK" with any type of paint, chemical, etc . . . . even a wash or neutralizing tank.....
DO NOT LET ANY PART OF THE TANK (bottom, walls, etc...) TOUCH OR GO BENEATH THE GROUND.
