Multiple colors

Post by DCMW »

Does anyone know how to go about doing these multiple colors like on this tree of life? (I've contacted the owner of this cutout and haven't got a response.)

Looks like patina to me. Pretty easy to do. Get with SteelFX here on the forum.

It could have been air brushed too, looks like there is some shading for high lights then clear coated.

He uses a torch for the edges (dark lines), then just blends the two powders together. Google "hombre cup" for similar styles on stainless tumblers.

Mark uses a torch to heat up to color how he wants. Then just powders over it with candies. He helped me get my flag powder coat times down to just a few minutes.
