Blodgette oven help
Hi .I had a Blodgette convection oven given to me and I have changed it over to NG.Now my oven control has gone shot and they want over $500.00 to replace it.The pilot control and pilot light are separate and are still working.I am using the oven some now by manually setting the gas valve but it's to hard to control the temp.Can anyone tell me how to simply control the heat? Yes I have been reading about PIDs and SSRs but it's all very confusing.I think I need a normally closed Solenoid valve in line after the pilot control But what controls it? Anybody got brand names and part numbers for what I need.I don,t think I need to spend $ 500.00.Thanks in advance.
