Linux pc
I am trying to figure out how to upgrade to new inkscape for linux. I downloaded it but cant figure out how to upgrade. Can anyone help with that?

What version of Linux are you running?

I would have thought that inkscape would be installed fromthe repositories for your distribution.
So probably:
sudo apt_get upgrade
would fix it
