Help with Inkscape - Line Width

Post by pitbumpers »

I down loaded a DXF file to inscape and the lines are very thick causing overlap and distorting the drawing. Is there a way to thin the lines so i can manipulate the drawing?? Thanks..

Press Shift+Ctrl+F to open the Fill and Stroke window, then click on Stroke Style tab at the top of that window. In there you can change the Width. Hope that helps!

I purchased Q-Cad its very cheap! The only thing that I use it for is opening a dxf and converting it to an svg. I can then open it in inkscape. Just be careful to resize it when you upload it to inkscape.
